Memphis, TN: Crye-Leike Real Estate Services had a rockin' time at the 80s themed annual conference in Sandestin, FL, hosted at the Hilton Hotel. Over 550 agents and managers throughout the nine-state region, along with Crye-Leike's ancillary services and vendors, gathered to enjoy four days of fun, learning, training and much more.

The conference kicked-off with a warm welcome from Co-Founders Harold Crye and Dick Leike, who gave an update on the latest company news and announced 12 new branch offices. President of Residential Sales Steve Brown and Chief Information Officer Gurtej Sodhi followed with updates on the real estate market and technology trends throughout the company.

This year's conference also featured two keynote speakers, Laura Scott and Tami Spaulding. Scott spoke about "future proofing" a real estate business, and Spaulding revealed...

Sandestin, FL., - Over 400 Crye-Leike associates from nine states gathered on the sandy beaches of Sandestin, Florida this October for a circus-themed annual company conference to discuss new trends in technology and marketing.

 

Crye-Leike cofounders, Harold Crye and Dick Leike, shared that home sales volume were up compared to figures for the company from the previous year. Harold Crye reported how removing MLS listings from Zillow and Trulia in three Crye-Leike regions was yielding positive sales results with more regions soon to follow. Crye-Leike's award winning web site, www.crye-leike.com, gives customers immediate access to accurate information on all available listings on the market. Eight new branch office openings were also announced in four of the nine states Crye-Leike serves.

A 50's Happy Days theme was perfect for the Crye-Leike, REALTORS annual training conference recently held in Sandestin, Florida where agents and managers gathered to discuss the improving housing market.

 

Crye-Leike associates from the company's nine state southern region heard from cofounders Harold Crye and Dick Leike that the home sales volume is up for Crye-Leike 19% so far this year compared to figures from last September.

 

This was more great real estate news for the agents to celebrate after they heard in January that Crye-Leike also improved its home sales in 2012 achieving a $4.5 billion sales volume which was a total $700 million dollars higher than sales seen in 2011.

COLLIERVILLE, TN. - Local Realtors heard from one of the nation's leading experts on the current housing slowdown, his forecast for the coming year and beyond.  National Association of Realtors (NAR) Chief Economist Dr. Lawrence Yun, PhD., recently addressed a gathering of Crye-Leike, REALTORS agents in Sandestin, Florida attending the company's 2008 National Conference and Expo.

 

"Dr. Yun provided a positive message, much needed in the midst of the massive negative news coverage concerning the real estate market," said Tommie Criswell-Jones, Managing Broker at the Crye-Leike Collierville office.  "A vital point to remember in all this talk of foreclosures is that only about 2% of all mortgage loans actually end in foreclosure."

SIGNAL MOUNTAIN, TN.- More than two decades of real estate sales experience and knowing what it takes to maintain success put Crye-Leike, REALTORS Agent Jean Smith in the national spotlight recently.  The Signal Mountain Realtor joined other real estate sales associates for a "Secrets Of Top Selling Agents" panel discussion during Crye-Leike's 2008 National Conference held at the Hilton Sandestin Hotel and Conference Center, Tuesday, October 14 - Thursday, October 16, 2008.
